So, I went out Friday night. I was so close to talking myself out of going, but luckily, Jessica, with whom I was working that night, let me go early so that I could go to the party. I basically HAD to go because if she showed up after work and I wasn't there, then she would have been pissed that I went home early for no reason. But anyway, I went to Maria's (whose apartment is SOOOO nice, she lives with her sister who's like my brother's age, so they can afford a nice place) and there were only a few of us there. There was a friend of Maria's that she's known since they were like 5 years old and he brought a friend who turns out to be from Cairo, went to school in Centura and knows Aaron Jarzynka. Both of them were cute, by the way. There were a few other people there like Jes, from work, and Maria's sister and her boyfriend. Jes made margaritas which were very good. She's so much fun. She's probably my favorite person from the desk. Later on, Maria's friends left and the Valet boys came over, Lucas, Kevin, and Bobby. Ahhh...Bobby. (and yes, Bobby is now single...weee....) There were lots of fun. I told Kevin that he scares the hell out of me (which he does. he always looks very angry at work which, I guess, is just the opposite of his personality) so he preceeded to be "Stonewall Kevin" all night and giving me angry looks because he knew it scared me. Then we had a contest to see who could spell my last name. I offered $100 to the winner. I left with my $100. Kevin might have gotten it right, but I started talking to Lucas so he started pouting and refused to finish. And Maria was WASTED. She was so funny. And feeling very open. She shared a lot with us about herself and her last relationship. She was drinking Tequila right out of the bottle. For a girl that never drinks, she has guts. She eventually changed into pajamas and started falling over people. It was then 2:30 and I had to get home because I had to work at 9:00 the next morning. Overall, I think the fun I had of actually being out with people outweighed the awkward and it was a pretty good night. I hope I get to do it again.
