I made a new friend in my Classical Mythology class today. I have to say, i'm a sucker for nerdy little boys. He's a year younger than me, he enjoys music, he's from Lincoln, and he's super nerdy. It's so cute. I hope he's in my recitation. Oh, and my teacher for this class is so funny. He's the type of professor that has been studying Classical Literature for so long with all of his collegues, that he's kind of lost touch with the outside world and makes all these jokes that no one really laughs at except, of course, me and my new friend because we understand the real humor behind this short, round, bearded little man. He seems like he's going to be a really cool teacher and i'm looking forward to the class, with the exception of the 6 books we have to read. I think i'll enjoy it, though. And i'm adventuring into the exciting world of Ceramics. Which seems a little scary...but we get to make a tea pot as our first project and I think i'm going to donate it to Nick Volf. He enjoys tea, it will be a funny gift. I'm excited for this class. It's a small class with only 10 of us in it and I'm really going to learn a lot about pottery and ceramics. Towards the end of the semester we get to use a pottery wheel. Uh, can anyone say "Ghost" please? How exciting. And I actually know someone in the class. Joe. He was in all of my drawing, color, and rest of my Visual Literacy classes last year. It's nice to see a familiar face again. In fact, this has happened several times this year. I have 2 friends in my Art History class. Go figure. All in all, a good day.
Oh, and if Steph is reading this, I would really like some sort of conformation that you made it back to STL safely. I haven't heard from you since, and I just want to make sure you made it and everything.
